Dear Cross Roads Family, Please keep all prayer requests on your personal prayer lists at home. We should be praying for our brothers and sisters here continually. We are to keep them in our prayers because we love our neighbors as ourselves, right? We should also be thankful with others in their Praise Reports. It will bless your lives along with theirs.
May God truly bless each and everyone of you,
Jim and Leanna Kinson
We at Cross Roads Fellowship are like family. There are some here who have witnessed God's blessings, healing, strength and love. There are some here who I know without a doubt are prayer warriors and that blesses my heart, because I know that I have someone praying over this place, my marriage, ministries and every member here daily. Does that not excite you? I would urge each and every one of you to check out the prayer and praise tab on a daily basis and to share love of Jesus. I would also urge you to put your prayer requests here and all praises.
God bless you,
Jim
PLEASE BE IN FERVENT PRAYER FOR ISRAEL!
Real Christian's pray for the Jewish people who have always been in persecution. There is a time of great suffering about to hit Israel and those who try to come against her in the very near future. According to what God's Word says, wars will come, and they are.
If you listen, watch, or read any news, you are going to hear about Israel. Our duty as Christians is to stop and listen, because anything you hear from now till the glorious day our Savior comes back will be very important not only to Israel but also to you. This is why all Christians should be praying daily for Israel. Praying for the Jews. We are entering a time of prophesy that does not look good for the world. I have shared this in many Bible studies that I have lead, for the believers who are following Jesus with all their heart, mind, soul and strength, will see favor and protection. This is another reason why I urge you to be praying for your neighbors and family members that don't know Jesus. It really is that important. We should pray for Israel, daily.
God bless you,
Jim
There are no birthdays today
A lot of people throughout the world claim to be Christians. As do many denominations of the body of Christ. But are they really Christians? Some are very far from it and many people and churches are cold, methodical, repetitive and ritualistic that it would be hard to find God there. If He was there it would be missed or never felt by anyone. Something very critical is being overlooked and that something is called having an attitude of prayer. To many this may sound hard to do, but is really very easy for anyone who truly loves the Lord. As Paul told us in:
"1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing."
This means for us to go about our daily duties and as we go about our business to keep all our thoughts on things of God prayerfully. As your driving, at work, home, school or no matter where it might be keep a prayerful attitude in our mind and heart. Forgiving those who treat you wrongly, praying for your church, your pastor and for those on your prayer lists. It doesn’t mean we should stay on our knees 24/7. This also cuts down the doors the enemy can open in your thoughts and wear you down.
Having said all this… What is a Christian?
It means we are to strive to be like Christ in all we do and say . However, today there are a lot of people who think they are Christians. There are far to many people who play games or involve themselves other activities that go against the principles of the Lord. They love these other worldly things so much the Lord slips to the way side. It is to the point of blasphemy toward the God and the Holy Spirit; which is an unpardonable sin. People need to be very careful in their daily walk. There are those who play church and they are there every time the doors are open or at least Sunday mornings. Why? It makes them feel better about themselves. Some because of their lifestyles and things they do the rest of the week. For others because it’s a great way and place to show off their cars, clothes or to talk about their accomplishments or others misfortunes. There are some people who have disabilities or challenges that keep them from attending church and really want to be there. There are those who are NEVER in church but call themselves a Christian. Then there are those who can go and they will not go or may only attend church once or twice a year. People need to hear the gospel but many are deceived by pastors who will not preach the gospel.
Being a Christian means: to strive more and more to be like Christ everyday of your life. Not just sometimes or when it feels like the right thing to do, or when things are going good for you, but every day and in every situation. Especially when things are tough or you feel like you won't be able to recover that's when the Lord needs to shine brightest from you. That is when YOU are a better witness for HIM. Let people see Christ shining on you amongst your despair so they will seek the Lord. Also, let others see that you are trusting in the Lord for all things.
Show Christ In the way you talk with people, the way you treat your wife and children, or even how you handle an annoying neighbor. Earnestly pray for others, witness to them and have compassion towards them. As Born Again Christians we have something no one else has…A way to talk to the Father and take all things to him in prayer. Jesus relays our every word to the Lord as we pray in His name. Remember to always pray in JESUS name. Truly seek Jesus to save you from your sins. Start by humbling yourself and truly repenting of your sins. Then pray for forgiveness of your sins. We’re not perfect. There is always some type of sin; rather it be in a thought or a feeling that was wrong toward your neighbor, or from the eye or mouth. Study Matt.6:9-13 for instructions. Follow them closely; don’t use it as a prayer but as an instruction on how to pray. You will be amazed at what your prayer life can be. Also remember what Jesus told us
Mat 6:14 - For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: Mat 6:15 - But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Being a Christian? Comes down to giving up religion, being born again, giving up self that Christ may be glorified. Do this by showing others and telling others about the Savior who died for you and them. Be bold and stand firm on the Word of God, and show compassion at the same time. Above all, love the Lord with all your heart all your soul and all your mind. In EVERYTHING, give thanks.
GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY MEMBER HERE AT CRF !
Janet Robertson
Jesus in our fellowship family keeps us together and gives us hope, makes us love each other stronger then if we did not have Him. He helps us keep our eyes open in this world of chaos. Opened wide for the things the enemy would have to destroy us. JESUS, is the way, the truth and the life. And none of us will see even a glimpse of glory without Him as our Savior and Lord. JESUS, is our only hope on this site, in our lives, in our communities and in our different churches. Help us, "Oh Lord" give us the desire to fellowship with one another as often as possible. If we loose that fellowship then we loose the meaning of CRF and why it's here.
We need each other just as we all as individuals need you personally in our life.
Help us to always give you ALL GLORY for every little thing here on CRF. Because without the Lord we are nothing. You are everything and help us Lord to realize that in every aspect of our lives that You Lord, must always come first in ALL situations. Where else could we go, and who should we go to but to you Oh Lord. Thank you JESUS. Thank you for our salvation. We give thanks for being with us as we go to worldly sites to witness to the religious lost. Also to witness to those who think being a good person or a church member or even baptized as a child is "all it takes" to get to heaven.
Father give us the desire to be better, bolder and more convincing in our witness as our time here on this earth grows shorter. We thank you LORD in advance, for the Amazing things you will do here in this wonderful Spirit filled place. In your precious Name The Name of JESUS, we ask it.
AMEN & AMEN !

Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Rev 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
Rev 4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
Rev 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
Rev 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
Rev 4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
Rev 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
Rev 4:9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
Rev 4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
